In Due Time Studio grew from work I was already doing long before it had a name.
My professional background spans employment services, behavioral health, human services, leadership, and hospitality—work that has often centered on helping people recognize their strengths, navigate transitions, overcome barriers, and communicate the value of their experience.
Outside of that work, I have had the privilege of writing annual Hall of Fame biographies honoring inductees and the stories behind their accomplishments and contributions. Creating a personal legacy project for someone close to me deepened that work even further, showing me what can happen when memories, milestones, accomplishments, and the details of a life are gathered and preserved with intention.
At first, career writing and legacy writing may seem like very different kinds of work. Over time, I realized they are connected by something much bigger:
They're all about what time does to a story.
They're all about what time does to a story.
An experience that once seemed ordinary can become the foundation for something new. A collection of jobs becomes a career. A transition becomes a turning point. Years of contribution become a legacy worth recognizing. Small moments become the stories people carry forward.
That is the meaning behind In Due Time.

It is the belief that our experiences continue to take shape and gain meaning as we move through them. Sometimes we're looking ahead, trying to articulate where we're going. Sometimes we're looking back, finally able to see the significance of where we've been. And sometimes we're preserving a story so that what mattered can continue beyond us.
In Due Time Studio exists for all of those moments.
Whether I'm helping someone position their experience for the opportunity ahead or preserve a story that took years to build, my approach begins the same way: understanding the person behind it and finding the words that honor where they've been, where they're going, and what deserves to remain.
